From early to mid spring the farmers begin to flood their rice fields and plant seedlings. On a cleary, windfree day, the still waters in the rice fields are like mirrors.
Around my place and hundreds of these rice 'mirrors'.

@Julie McLeod: Thanks Julie. As rice is the No. 1 food in Japan, there are rice paddies EVERYWHERE!!! (Obviously not in the middle of Tokyo or Osaka!!) It is such a beautiful sight.
