nice shot! looks almost like you used hdr but i can't tell for sure, which is a big compliment. good composition. excellent tones/detail.

@danthro: Hi danthro, thanks for your compliment. Some of my photos are HDR but this one was a single image.

The foot steps in the snow and the perspective are nice but I don't like the overall composition. I would have see 2 pictures: first your picture as it is without the parking interdiction sign. second your main subject the red sign and all the foot steps until the end of the shadow, having only the base of toori. But this is a personnal taste...

@akarui: Hi akarui, thanks for your constructive criticism. When I was taking this photo I had the same ideas as you. In particular I wanted to get just the red traffic cone with the footsteps around it. However I thought that it wasn't everyday that one sees a traffic cone at a Jinja Shrine, under the Tori, so i decided to capture the whole scene.
